city branding - dec 2025

For this project we were given a city to do research on, create a new logo for, and design an entire new design system for the city. I was given Boise Idaho. For this brand identity I ended up creating a city booklet, light pole banners, magazine ads, a bus wrap, a service poster, instagram tourism ads, and a design summary sheet.

what is your research - dec 2025

For this design research project we had to pick a topic or a noun of our choice. I picked the topic of toast (don't ask me why). We were given a list of things to create under the basis of our topic. Our prompt was to make, make something again, make something again, again, and make something again, again, again.

October 2025 Design

manifesto zine - oct 2025

For this project we were tasked with writing our personal design statement. We then had to create a multi spread zine that represented the manifesto that we had written.

card box and rule sheet - dec 2024

In my typography class, we were assigned a card game that we had to design a rule sheet for, as well as the outside of the card box. The main focus of this project was to learn how to use display type and find type pairings that work well together.

October 2024 Design

For this project we were asked to pick 10 objects and design a layout for a magazine spread for these objects.

chicago tyography book - oct 2024

Sophomore year the College of Architecture and Design took a trip to Chicago where we were tasked with collecting pictures of cool typography in the wild. We then had to design a book cover, front and back, that contained everybody's collection of typography from the Chicago trip.

lyric video - may 2024

Before we started this project we were tasked to pick a song of our choice. We were then randomly assigned an art movement that we had to do research on. The art movement I got was De Stijl (Neoplasticism) and we had to create a lyric video for the song we chose using the aesthetic of our art movement.

kinetic typography - apr 2024

For this project we were randomly assigned a word and I got the word "flow." We then had to pick a synonym or antonym so I picked the synonym "swirl." We had to create an animation of each word that expressed the meaning of said word and then animate a transition from one word to the other.

We were tasked to create an animated set of the topic of our choice so I chose to create under the theme of desserts.

December 2023 Design

For this project we picked an object of our choice, so I chose these dollar store sunglasses. We were then given a persona to target our photo towards and I was given millennial. I took it further and made the target audience a millennial boujee mom to fit the aesthetic of the sunglasses.
